The Impending Departure
Hi. My name is Austi (aka "Stinky"). I am moving away from my best friend and brother from another mother, Tom Godfrey, to pursue my dream: a Master's degree in Photography, Stained Glass, Orchids, Landscape Architecture. Yes, that's it. Landscape Architecture.
I have abandoned my two cats, Winston and Roscoe, packed all my belongings and am heading East to the city of hopes and dreams. The Big Apple. The Windy City. The Big Easy. Yes, that's right: Philadelphia. The city of brotherly love (which might make you wonder why I'm not taking Tommy with me, but that's neither here nor there).
This blog will document my experiences in a new town, at a new school, where I will make new friends and learn new things. If this storyline sounds familiar, it's because it was the premise of the hit WB show, Felicity. Except for the fact that I am not following a person named Ben to this new city, everything else will be just about the same. In fact, if you rent Season 1 of Felicity on Netflix you'll pretty much see what's in store for me this year. And the writing will probably be better.
Anyway, I have to go. I just dropped a bomb that was S.O.T. and I have to go take care of bidness. If you get my meaning.
