In which Pooh tries to figure out where the liars are in this monte game.
I have been seeing this going around on a bunch of blogs and it looks like fun.
I am going to describe some events that may or may not have happened to me. Guess which one (or ones), I am lying my butt off about.
1) I have been a soloist with a major symphony orchestra.
2) I have talked to 2 Miss America's when they were naked.
3) I had Canadian Mounties threaten to kill me.
4) I was hired as a political consultant by Vice President Hubert Humphrey.
5) I made Katherine Hepburn laugh till she cried.
6) I was chased through an airport by someone with a machine gun.
7) I have a Top Secret government security clearance.
Let the games begin!!!!!
wow-- these are all good. But I'm gonna say 5 and 7 - only because I believe they are the most improbable. Although the music thing gets people serious security clearance to play for dignitaries. So I am baffled. Nope--5 and 7 I'll stick with.
Do you have pics of the Miss Americas?
Posted by: mopsa on May 9, 2003 07:49 AMI'm gonna go with number 7. I believe you about all the others.
Posted by: jeremyw on May 9, 2003 10:18 AMhmmmm.. you are good at this, and I have known ou for oh so long.. I am guessing 4
Posted by: bill on May 9, 2003 02:50 PMI'm still waiting. . .
Posted by: mopsa on May 13, 2003 11:07 PMOops, sorry mopsa...the pickle posse got together on Friday night to exchange peanut butter and pickle recipes, and I told everyone in person that night. I got a little lazy on the written follow up........
The answer is.......they are all true. Pick a number (or two), and I will tell you the stories behind them.
(and no I don't have the pictures...sigh ....but I do carry the visions in my head.)
Is that a nice way of calling me an outsider?
They are not all true. REALLY?
How do I join this pickle posse? I want to hear the stories!
Posted by: mopsa on May 14, 2003 05:01 PMoutsider??? NO WAY!!!..as for those statements..... yes they are ALL true..
It would not be hard to join the pickle posse.. You would just have to eat a peanut butter and dill pickle sandwich and then come and play Boggle, Scrabble or Trivial Pursuit with us.
Besides, I think one of the charter members, Bill may have abdicated his position by blowing chunks after eating one of my sandwiches.
Posted by: jack on May 14, 2003 07:50 PMPeanut butter and pickles? Hmmm. Maybe I'll look at the Rotary Club. Or the Girls Clubs of America. Or a nice pottery club.
Thanks tho!
;-)
