This is Jake at last night's 6th Annual Spring Dance Party. He loves music. Sometimes he has to make do when his guitar isn't around. This is a bit more animated, but Jake also has the indie-rock shoe-gazer pose down pat.

A glorious sunset this evening. I went up to my (fast-becoming) usual spot on the way home from work tonight and got this little picture (plus about six more). I need to find myself another good outlook spot for sunsets... maybe by a lake.

I snapped this shot of the moon upon exiting work tonight. Not a great shot, but I like it -- it is hard to get moon shots, I find.

There were four old graffiti-sprayed boxcars sitting on the tracks next to the coffee shop. I tried to get an interesting shot.

I took this shot last night while driving home from work. I don't recommend shooting pictures while driving, but you just might get a really cool shot if you dare.

Spring is surely here and the daffodils on the south side of my house are really enjoying the warmer weather. The tulips poked through the dirt first, but they are laggards compared to these little beauties. The hostas are also starting to peek through the ground and I'm sure they'll be spreading their big leaves very soon.

This picture is here just to show you the capabilities of the new Sony DSC-P71 digital camera that I wrote about in my main weblog. As you can see from the image, this little camera can capture some pretty amazing detail. I don't think I need to say much more.
