I guess I'm thankful for truly awe-some natural occurences like light coming through low clouds over an icy lake at the close of a day of good food and family. It started off like this and then just moments later it changed completely. By the way, this photo has not been retouched or enhanced in any way, only sized down.

I decided to try a new Thai recipe tonight, Red Chicken Curry with Tomatoes (and Pea Pods). It turned out pretty darn good, almost like a Thai stew. Easy to make and spicy and delicious.

Late afternoon sunlight bursts through the clouds above the Minneapolis skyline on a late fall Saturday. A bit of tweaking in Photoshop adds more drama.
