I finished the garage re-shingling task yesterday. Today I hurt all over. I was in a crouched, angled position for over eight hours, so I guess that should be expected, but I can't feel some of my toes! The garage roof took 20 bundles of shingles and 10 pounds of nails (hammered by hand). I listened to "Tishomingo Blues" by Elmore Leonard (a book-on-iPod) whilst I was working.
