Girly stuff.

This is where my dad, if he used the Internet for anything other than simple emailing and looking up guitar chords and genealogy, should stop reading.

If you hadn't heard, my father once gave me $2 ($2!!!) to buy "lady goods" during the most uncomfortable time my mother had chosen to go on an extravagant European vacation...when I gave him an incredulous look, he overcompensated by giving me $30, which I used toward some extra candy bars and lip gloss.

He also once walked into the TV room where I was watching TV (not really) with my boyfriend to tell me "The dog has something that belongs to you." Which really meant, "the dog chewed up your PAD and left the bloody remnants on my office floor. Please clean it up. Like now."

Anyway, if he were reading, he would have stopped where I mentioned him to call and tell me to quit talking shit. And he would definitely not want to see this:

What I appreciate most about this chart, besides the fact that it can be posted anywhere that will maximize discomfort in men and boys, is the fact that the legend includes a code for "suspected PMS," which is really another way of saying, "I was a huge bitch today. Blame it on my uterus."

This was sent to me from my mother, who found it at this most brilliant site.

Stocking stuffer, anyone?

(I'm nervous about what Dr. Josh's comment on this post may be...)

I remember one time I took you to Walgreen's and offered to use my employee discount for you. You seemed mildly embarrassed. I guess since I'm a health care professional, I'm just not bashful.

Also, did you know that you can flush HUGE amounts of menstrual materials down the toilet at one time? You can't? Well my roommate thinks you can! :)

That is funny, clever, and awfully helpful.

I like how she channels uncontrollable anger and hopelessness into artistic expression. And who doesn't like a handy chart to fill out. Order a dozen.
