Apple Moves Me

Apple made some new announcements at the NAB convention today (yes, on Sunday). First off, a brand new motion graphics design app called, wait for it, Motion! For only $299 - wow! Particles, behaviors, I'm ordering it.
Also, Final Cut Pro HD (4.5), a free update to FCP4 users (very nice, thanks). DVD Studio Pro 3 and Shake 3.5 (and a bunch of other pro app updates as well, like Compressor, LiveType, Soundtrack, etc). As if that wasn't enough, check out Xsan. Whoa.
And one last thing: they are supporting the new HDV format. What else will be announced during the NAB convention?

Local Apple Training

We have an Apple authorized training center in Edina at the MN School of Business: MSBDV.com. They teach Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Soundtrack, etc.

Movin' On Up

Must've ate something... I just woke up from a dream where I saw George Jefferson and "Weezee" (Louise) in bed with 5 other young women.

Mullet

While in Chicago last month, during breakfast at the local Denny's (love that french toast!), I saw the most amazing mullet.

Penguins, Again

As if slugging penguins with a club (in a game, ok!) wasn't fun enough, now you can toss them against walls in hopes of having seals bounce them off their noses. Jack, you should not try this game, Seal Slap. Similar to Monkey Ball. You have been warned. 1338 is my current score. Can't quite figure out the technique...
