I never even thought of blue tooth head phones. I know they have real big, like studio quality ones that use 900 spread spectrem, but thats for home theatues, not for walking around. posted by: Blaine Hilton on January 5, 2003 5:34 PMOk I take it all back...you are the King..I surrender my staff and crown...and oh yeah I want one of these things........ aren't you worried that the frequency of the wireless connection is going to cause cancer in untested test tube animals... and aren't you worried that it would take 4 AA batteries to run this thing. posted by: bill on January 6, 2003 1:07 AMI'd sue you for f**kin patent infringement if it wouldn't make me have to reveal my secret identity. I've had one of these on my wrist since the 60's. Hook it up to the batmobile? I use something I coined "fangtooth wireless technology" completely multichannel and bidirectional it automatically locks onto my surround sound batmobile radio and gives me Riddlerass kickin sound. I think I know who the previous logger was, I think it was dick Tracy posted by: Green Hornett on January 6, 2003 10:17 PMWow! That is so on the money, it made my nipples hard. Before I became an iPod fiend I was a MiniDisc fiend and the only thing I miss is the nifty little remote that came with my Sony. I, as well, have a ton of new music on my 20 gigger (Calliope)(call me a geek, I named my iPod),and I'm not too comfortable taking out my $500 toy on the bus in ghetto central to see who I'm listening to. Steve Jobs, if your watching, hire this guy!! posted by: Mouser on January 8, 2003 1:17 PMI accidentally stumbled upon this site...in search of earbud headsets for my ipod.... (small ear canal challenged) anyway my comments on the watch...incredible!! posted by: Jack Tripper on August 31, 2003 10:22 PMGreat minds think alike! I've been thinking of something like this for awhile as well. In addition to all your features I would also include: -about 16-32MB of user accessible flash memory so people can store important files on the watch and carry them wherever they go. -rechargeable batteries with some sort of cradle. Bluetooth will significantly decrease the battery life especially with a battery that would fit in a watch. -cell phone integration. When someone calls the watch would show the caller ID info and allow you to reject or answer the call (perfect if you're using a Bluetooth headset). You could also set the phone to silent or un-silent from the watch, and of course access your contacts. -it would function not only as an iPod remote, but a remote for any other Bluetooth device, especially computers. posted by: Tom Robinson on October 31, 2003 11:45 AMI did a search for "Bluetooth watch" and got here. I had a similar idea, but you took it WAAAY further than just thinking about it. Kudos. I want it to use in conjunction with my cell phone. That way, when a call comes in, I can see the caller id on my watch and not have to drag out the phone. Kinda defeats the purpose of a Bluetooth headset. Let me know when someone buys your idea, makes you a millionaire and I can buy one. thnx, daniel. posted by: daniel on January 28, 2004 8:16 PMHi are you going to actually create these and sell them i think they would be fucking amazing! Dan lid posted by: Daniel Liddington on May 13, 2004 5:36 AMI also did a search for "Bluetooth Watch" and got here. I was thinking of a watch like this for my Palm as a remote. And to access phone numbers and schedules. Caller ID for your home and cell phone would be great also. I just love the possibilities that Bluetooth will provide in the near future. Oh!... and what alot of things including this watch need is a wireless charging pad or even blanket. Think of it charging still on your wrist while you sleep. The charging pad that you can just set your other devices on to charge. No need for wires. I have seen something like this for a laptop, but now I can't find it anymore. But I think it should be used everywhere. Maybe in the future we will have "Charging Hotspots" like we have "Wifi Hotspots". But that is just a little dream of mine. posted by: CJ on May 19, 2004 1:45 AM |
