Passing On My grandfather's sister, Verna, passed away on Sunday. I did not know her very well at all so I am not struck by a great sense of loss but I am saddened just the same. She was still living at home and she was 104 years of age. I think we should all be just a bit envious of a life that allows such a dignified end (the alternatives are much less desirable).
