Boba Tea Maybe this seems like the hot new fad/trend, whatever, but you really should get yourself some Boba Tea (also commonly known as Bubble Tea, Pearl Tea, QQ, etc). It is so refreshing! Kinda chewy... but I like chewy! Make sure to try a Lychee cooler (I don't think this really counts as a bubble tea since it lacks tea) with the tapioca pearls in it. Ohmigosh is that nice. Looks odd, but tastes great. posted by jeremy at 11:38 PM | On This Day:

I live right next to that place. It's pretty yummy. Try green tea w/ honey and bubbles. posted by: ian on June 28, 2002 1:01 PMHere in Los Angeles they are all over. In, uh, varied qualities. We just call them "bobas". =)
No way! I'm not a fan of boba tea whatsoever. I rather have milk tea (tea without the tapioca balls). It just takes forever to chew one of those balls. I think boba tea is something you either love or hate. Here in the NYC area, it's a very popular drink. Chinatown has no less than 5 boba tea shops. Talk about a fad gone out of control. posted by: Ada on July 2, 2002 8:56 AMIf you love boba, check out BobaPals. These adorable boba cartoon characters will lead boba to global domination. Ask you local boba, tea, coffee, gift, and internet cafe places for the BobaPals merchandise. They are coming soon! posted by: boba lover on April 5, 2004 3:27 PM |
