Karoo music finds S. African acclaim. I think this is very cool. I spent some time in the Karoo two years ago and I loved it, even though I saw only a small portion. Imagine a semi-arid land of buttes, hills, gulleys, cactus-type plants, red rocks, sheep, huge sky -- kinda like northern New Mexico or Wyoming in a way. Except with wild baboons. Ugh, I can't do it justice. Trust me, it is cool.
