MN Ikea?

Running in the Strib: Local shoppers wait hopefully for arrival of Ikea. Meanwhile, we still drive 8 hours to Chicago or order out of the catalog. They'd kick butt in this market. (Note: you won't often find me cheering on too many huge corporations). I got the scoop a year ago.

You mean IKEA finally took my suggestion that I left on their web site about a year ago? I said in effect "With the number of Scandinavians in Minnesota you are bound to be a hit". I loved going to IKEA when I lived in Baltimore, as evidenced by the insane number of marble items I have in my house (salt shakers, lazy susan, several cutting boards, glass and marble coffee table, marble/wrought iron table that almost gave me a hernia getting it in the house, 2nd floor). Hope they are on the East side of Twin Cities and not in Edina or Minnetonka.
