...everything goes to hell. Sort of. I took the day off yesterday (we get a 'free' vacation day for our birthday each year) to just kick back and relax and hang out. Last night I went out to dinner (great Thai food) and then watched "Death to Smoochy" (not at all as bad as reviews make it seem) with friends. Got a call on my cell around 12:30am this morning with an important message -- the president of my company resigned yesterday! This is a huge event. Apparently the former-president and the head of sales (who resigned a week prior) are in cahoots and going elsewhere. A huge shock to all. We never expected this sort of thing. Corporate HQ reps are coming to visit on Monday and I'm sure it will be a very... uh, interesting meeting. And word on the street is whispering about the competition... hmmm...
