PVR + DVD-R + Edit Toshiba's got a new box called the RD-X2 that can do PVR (ala Tivo) on its 80-gig drive, connect a camcorder/camera or laptop and import video and edit it via the remote control and then, the kicker, you can take anything on the box and burn it to DVD with the built-in burner. Wow. posted by jeremy at 10:33 PM
Pretty neat. Maybe when it gets down to $500 it'll be my foray into dvd watching. posted by: Lauri on November 18, 2002 11:04 AMYeah, but if you just wanna watch DVDs, you can find decent players for under $100 at places such as Target and Best Buy. posted by: jeremyw on November 18, 2002 8:42 PM |
