Thai Food

Ok, if you live in the Twin Cities area and you like Thai food, you owe it to your tastebuds to drive over to New Hope and eat at Thai Express Cafe on the corner of 36th N. and Winnetka. A fairly new place, this little family-owned spot always is delicious and spicy (to your liking, of course). Great service and great prices, too. I've been eating there at least once a week. They serve lunch and are open until 9:00pm.
Tonight I tried my hand at my own cooking (I am capable) and whipped up some Red Curry Chicken with Tomatoes and Pea Pods. Yummy! Spicy and thick, like a stew, over jasmine rice. Coconut milk, halved cherry tomatoes and red curry paste make up the most of the 'sauce' and the green pea pods contrast nicely. I'll be making this again!

Hello. have not heard of Thai Express, but I will be trying it soon! I'm a huge fan of Thai food (and in the mpls area)!

Lately my girlfriend and I have been driving up to Roseville to go to a place called Royal Orchid. It's in a strip mall with a Barnes & Noble and Toys 'R Us. I don't know if you've ever been there, but their entrees are excellent! (despite fairly unimpressive appetizers.)

Last time we were there I discovered their peanut curry is almost identical to my favorite dish of all time. I used to have this Broccoli and Peanut sauce dish every time I went to Bangkok Thai, in dinkytown. I don't go there anymore specifically because that dish isn't as good as it used to be.

Anyway, I was wondering if you've ever made a peanut curry? If I could get a recipe, or find someone would could guess accurately, I'd be extremely grateful. (and eating it at least once a week!)

My girlfriend makes an excellent Spinach and Cauliflower noodle dish I can offer up as trade. *grin*

Well, sorry for leaving such a long post, I just did a search, and Royal orchid has a website! http://www.thebestthaifood.com/
