OMG -- you are SO cute! Seriously. You look like something out of Apple's Way or Eight Is Enough or something. Or maybe the male version of Half Pint. I can't decide. Adorable.

A buddy of mine, my best friend from junior high, gave me a photo his Mom had found from when we were kids. It was hideously funny, me snarling at the camera in my velour shirt circa 1979, with my PERM (my sister was in beauty school) and my pot belly hanging out as I meanaced the camera with my cool leather whip! Yikes!

This is a great photo, mainly because it's such cheesy fun!

I used to think that my mother took too many photographs of me. Now I think she didn't take enough. Only a few have survived the ravages of time, and the negatives are long gone. All of them are funny in retrospect, and they all give a piece of history, aid in reconstructing patchy memories.

You look like Brandon Cruz, that kid from "The Courtship of Eddies Father" TV show. Or, a real young Tom Cruise.
