Moblog 3650 One of the many reasons I've been so busy: a new cell phone. The Nokia 3650 to be exact. Camera and video phone. See a recent phonecam image over on the left side of the main page (will move to right eventually). Big manual, tons of features. Yes, it can receive a fax. Speakerphone. Infrared. Bluetooth. Internet. Email. IM. Games. GameBoy games (sweet). SMS. MMS. J2ME. Memory Card. Yeah, basically this little bar of electronic soap has more power, RAM and features than my old Amiga 500. With a 128 Meg memory card, this thing can hold over 2,400 pictures. And it was free (after rebates), too. I was really wanting the Nokia 6600, but at a cost of $500 the choice was pretty easy to make -- go with the 3650. And you're gonna want to visit this set of links, trust me: http://www.angelfire.com/pro/nokia3650/ some women are football widows. others, hunting widows. me? i'm a cell phone widow. actually, i'm an 'any new electronic toy' widow. posted by: irish-girl on December 22, 2003 10:37 PMyeah, that phone is pretty sweet. i'm really jealous and have already made the call to t-mobile to ask about porting my sprint number over. posted by: craig on December 23, 2003 4:41 PMTalk about jelous! My sister has a camera phone (I think it's sprint something-or-other) and I'm drooling over it now. We just added textamerica to her site as well. Maybe I can convince the hubby it's time for one of these.... Thanks for the info! posted by: Leslie on December 24, 2003 12:43 AMSmall world! I just got a 3650!! It's really too bad my old crappy phone wouldn't hold out till the 3660s come out, but now that I've got it in my hands, I wish I'd done it sooner. Favorite feature I've only just discovered: attaching a photo to a "contact" and watching their picture come up when they call me. posted by: grid on December 28, 2003 11:52 PMthese are some damn fine links, btw. (Just explaining the spike I'm causing in your hit statistics as I return to this page fifty times a day...) posted by: grid on December 30, 2003 5:00 PM |
