I've seen only one of the movies on your list. I'll bet you can guess which one. Laura and I looked at that whale rider one in the video store, and I made fun of her for suggesting it. It's actually worth watching?

As for best music of 2003, I'm making a list to post on my site now.

Happy new year!

Whale Rider is AWESOME, Grid. Don't ever make fun of Laura again. And go see The Station Agent right now, it's lovely. Actually, go see all the ones on the list.

Hey, I've seen big fish! At a sneak preview even! (ie, for free!)

There are too many good movies I haven't seen. *grumbles*

I just downloaded Verve Remixed 2 and The Postal Service from the Apple Music Store after seeing them highly touted around the internet.

My favorite album of the year was the new one from Sinead O'Connor, but then I'm sort of a Sinead fanatic. Still, it's worth a listen if you like her, especially "It's All Good" and her version of ABBA's "Chiquitita".
