Apple MWSF 04 Another MacWorld, another Steve Jobs keynote presentation. Sure, new versions of iDVD, iPhoto, iMovie, Final Cut Express 2, new G5 Xserve and Raid, sleek new iPod minis (at least $50 overpriced in my opinion)... but the best and most exciting thing is called "GarageBand" and will be available on January 16th. alas, no speed bumps....sigh posted by: jack on January 7, 2004 12:45 PMthere were many things I was hoping to see at this expo and didn't I would have liked to see a speed bump with the G5's, some new iMacs would have bean great, why was he so excited about really no change to microsoft office for mac.. don't you think updating keynote would have bean much more exciting, considering it is over a year old now.. still on version 1 sure Garage band will be cool. posted by: bill on January 7, 2004 7:43 PMps, what was apple thinking pricing the mini iPods at $250, Steve Jobs made a point about don't you think its worth an extry $50 for 4 times the storage, then why not pay the extra $100 and get an actual iPod posted by: bill on January 7, 2004 7:44 PMThey were talking about the iPod pricing on techtv yesterday. The general consensus seems to be that they'll drop the price after all the mac addicts drop $250 on the new gear. Also on techtv was the new iLife suite. Garage Band looks amazing. I can't wait. iPhoto looks better too and was reviewed as performing much faster. posted by: craig on January 7, 2004 11:07 PM |
