This weekend we finally become (again) a modern metropolitan area with the long-awaited grand opening of the Twin Cities' Light Rail line! Whoohoo! Take part in the Grand Opening Festivities June 26th and 27th - free rides and lots of entertainment!
Now, that said, we never should've dismantled the old system back in 1954, which stretched over 368 miles of the metro area.
