macworld NY

I went over to the satellite presentation of Steve Jobs Macworld keynote this morning. It was rather exciting seeing live and on the big screen (over at the U of MN) but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. This keynote didn't have the full-on RDF (Reality Distortion Field) effect that Jobs is known for. It was good, but not insanely great. Still, I was impressed with the demos and the new softwares and I surely wouldn't turn down a new PowerMac G4/867 or Dual 800 machine. Hmmm... perhaps the Seybold conference will reveal some new surprises in September... if not, we'll surely be getting some advanced high-end machines come January (flat-panel iMacs, Powerbook revisions, maybe quad-processors machines or a few other surprises. Or so I hope). Whatever. It was still fun. Thanks to FirstTech for putting on this event.
