sister moon
sister moon is looking down on me from above
a clear cool clean gaze
she knows things
things that I shouldn't need to confess
but she won't judge
so I give her my fear
and pain
and humility
I give her my confusion
bare my emotions
ask the questions
she doesn't flinch
her gaze continues over me
through me
as calm as before
I stepped into
her light
