Riomaggiore, Italy on the night of October 6, 2003 (my birthday). Riomaggiore is located in the Cinque Terre - a most amazing landscape of mountainous vineyards above tiny fishing villages.

This is beautiful! Is this how the camera captured the scene, or did you play with it in photoshop? I love the colors. I also love how the lines of the photo draw my eye up the street and then deep into the city.

I was there in '95 and couldn't find a room and ended up being taken in to sleep in the unfinished addition to the pescciatore (fish monger's) house. what an amazing place. I hope you got in some shots of those boats during daytime@!
